Goodacre ad), Christmas in the Country, Comments on Trovillion Books, At Christmas Give a Good Book (lists 8 titles). This copy includes four small, printed & inserted advertisements for: A Baker's Dozen, The Tussie Mussies, Oscar Wilde's The Happy Prince; reprints of Hyll's Garden & Delights for Ladies; a printed order form, and a pink paper return envelope for ordering. The front page of The Silver Horse shows a four-inch long paste spot, which has obscured several words of text, and it shows two central, horizontal folds from mailing. In the original, yellow paper postage paid mailing envelope which has been hand-addressed to Cleveland, Ohio based miniature books collector, Ruth E. Adomeit. The side flap has been carefully opened, the envelope shows some slight edge wear, dusting. Scarce item. This is a printed newsletter with inserted advertising materials, not a copy of a book.
