nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Jarek has spent his life on the City Watch, chasing thieves, drunks, and beggars through the streets of Vaelthorne. It is routine work, until a scream in the night draws him to a corpse torn apart by something no human hand could have made.A creature not of this world hunts the city of Vaelthorne under the cover of darkness, its origin unknown and its hunger deadly. To stop it, Jarek must confront the shadows lurking in every alley, and the dangers that most of the citizens refused to see.He is no hero, no wise sage, only a watchman sworn to keep order. Yet when darkness spills across the streets, he will have to stand firm-or watch the city crumble around him.
