About this Item
Samerlans Forlag, Copenhagen, 1945. Softcover, 92 pp. All text in Danish. The author Kaj Munk (1898-1944) was a Danish playwright and Lutheran pastor who was assassinated by the Gestapo during WWII as a member of the Danish Resistance. This volume of poetry (entitled Last Poems ) was published a year after his death. Very good condition. Retains its paper outer jacket, which has few short tears. Inner jacket has come unglued in one piece from the spine of the text block, but the text block is solid and intact. Interior is clean, with a previous owner name at head of an early blank page.
