Paperback. Audrey Sands thought she would never get it right when it came to dating men. She believed because she was just beginning her adult life, she had time to figure it all out. Being a young working mother kept her focused. She guarded her heart perfectly until she bumped into the sexy, successful contract attorney, Stephen Parks. Stephen immediately turned on the charm sucking Audrey into his grasps. She thought she hit the jackpot when she found out that such an attractive man with a career was interested in actually dating her. She accepted his advances and gave in only to find out that Stephen was married with children. Audrey was furious and ended things immediately. But, she couldn't stop thinking about him and the way he made her feel. She allowed him back into her heart becoming his faithful mistress for three years. She didn't mind being second to his family. He gave her the affection that she desired and made sure that he provided for her and her son. She was content with her little unconventional setup until Dionne, Stephen's wife, became pregnant with their fifth child. He decided that his wife deserved better and abruptly ended the relationship with Audrey. Things take an interesting turn, when Stephen is ultimately contracted by her boss to work for her company. The situation causes her more trouble than she ever could have dreamed of. Find out how Audrey handles being jilted by Stephen and having to deal with it up close and personal.
