A comprehensive course, written by experts, which gives the ambitious manager who doesn’t have time to go back to college all the essential skills for business success
As the world of business continues to change, it is becoming more and more crucial for managers to have a thorough understanding of all the complex issues involved in the successful running of a business. To keep up with the challenges, they need to accumulate a wide portfolio of specific skills. But not everyone can spare the time to go to college.
The Shorter MBA is a comprehensive course which concentrates on all the key areas of running a business. Compiled and edited by a management consultant and a management training specialist, each chapter is written by an acknowledged expert in the field, and provides practical tips and techniques.
Areas covered include marketing strategy, business development, turning around a loss-making business, selling and negotiating, time management, decision making, human resource management and finance and accounting.
In the highly competitive new world of the ‘delayered’ organization, where managers have to fight harder for fewer jobs, individuals need to forge their own fast track to success. The Shorter MBA provides all the tools needed for those who want to be high fliers.

Store description
In 2002, World of Books Group was founded on an ethos to do good, protect the planet and support charities by enabling more goods to be reused. Since then, we've grown into to a global company pioneering the circular economy. Today, we drive the circular economy through three re-commerce brands: - Wob: Through Wob, we sell. We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
