Neuware - Short Stories to Offend Everyone: A Comic Memoir About Lust, Philosophy, Dogs, Santa Claus, and Hell is a wild comic collection about desire, embarrassment, bad judgment, moral confusion, and the strange ways a person accidentally learns wisdom.Kirk Krutilla turns personal memory, philosophical satire, tavern comedy, Christmas disaster, and Dante-style moral fantasy into a series of outrageous stories where foolish men learn from stronger women, dogs expose human vanity, Santa Claus needs anger management, and Hell becomes a place where slogans, hypocrisy, and self-importance are punished with comic precision. The stories range from a young man on a wet Oregon road mistaking a five-dollar bill for divine approval, to Diogenes putting mankind on trial with a dog as his best witness, to two men entering the Boring Tavern for 'research purposes' and discovering they are the real specimens. Along the way, the book asks whether lust can teach humility, whether philosophy can survive comedy, whether dogs may be morally superior to people, and whether embarrassment is sometimes wisdom arriving in an ugly hat.Funny, rude, reflective, and deliberately irreverent, this collection is for readers who enjoy comic memoir, satire, absurd philosophy, flawed narrators, and stories that laugh first but still leave a bruise of truth.…
