A collection of four separate stories about people at the crossroads of life. The path they choose will lead them to positive or negative consequences. It's a story of self-determination and human struggle.
The Garden of the Republic: An impulsive New Yorker, who is bored with his life, decides to join an NGO in Tucuman, Argentina to build a health clinic. Once there, he meets people who have a tremendous impact on his decisions whilst he learns about the Dirty War that happened in Argentina during the early 1980s.
Zabalburu Urkia: An Irishman with slight disabilities sees his life pass by him, so he decides to take a chance and teach English in Durango, a small town in the Basque Country, Spain. His disabilities make it difficult for him whilst he stumbles upon the long lost Basque treasure.
The Bells of Gloucester: Two lads from Gloucester, England, best friends since childhood, slowly drift apart as they take different paths. Their new friends make them decide what path they will take. It's a story about redemption and the pressure of adolescences.
Celtic Verde: An allegorical tale about the constant changes in life. The characters are metaphors who represent hope, selfishness, loyalty, life and death. Connor, a selfish Irish-American, thinks childhood would last forever. As an adult, he sees how difficult life treats him. He leaves his elderly parents to look for work in Ireland and discovers how much it has changed. Desperate, he gets tempted to make a wish at an ancient well.
