Red cloth binding. No markings in the text with a few light scattered soil spots. The only library markings is a label on the inside front cover of F & E Stoneham, Ltd from London with 3 issued stamps and 3 returned stamps all from 1925. There is a note from the previous owner on the inside front cover and a name and date printed on the front end paper. There is some soiling on the page edging. The cover has a circle spot on the front that looks like a sticker was removed (the red is much brighter on that spot). The spine has gilt print and has some fading. There are several newspaper clippings about the Great War included. The title page states: With Nineteen Maps. Second Edition, 1920.
