Green cloth. 168 pp. With a few black and white floor plans throughout. A historical survey of the evolution of architecture throughout history, starting with a look at Celtic or Druidical remains, the monuments of Egypt, Asiatic architecture, Greek, Roman and architecture from Etruria, early Christian style, Byzantine style, Mahometan architecture, Romanesque style, Gothic architecture and the Renaissance. GOOD condition. Minor fading, spotting, soiling and toning to the covers. Small split and tear at the head of the spine. Previous owner's signature present. Minor toning in the interior.
