A signature feature of "Fine Woodworking" project articles is detailed exploded drawings. Some of these plans are works of art in themselves and reward careful study with insights into the basis of good design. For the many woodworkers, these plans are worth the price of the book alone. This book collects the workshop accessory and jigs articles that contain exploded drawings from the last 15 years of "Fine Woodworking". It is organized by class of project (tool storage, workbenches, table saw accessories, etc.). The book contains approximately 60-65 projects. Because there is such a wide variety of project types and skill levels needed, it should appeal to a wide range of woodworkers.
About the Author:
Fine Woodworking was launched in 1975 in response to the lack of quality information on the craft. With a circulation of 287,000, it is now the premiere source of how-to information for woodworkers of all skill levels that are seriously interested in woodworking techniques, tools, projects, finishing and design inspiration.
