Kevin is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, Troy State University and Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command. Kevin and his wife reside in North Carolina where Kevin currently works in the private sector as a Director of Asset Protection and Investigations for a company doing business in 94 countries. Phil Carlson's law enforcement, and corporate security career spans several decades. Phil has worked at the state, local & federal levels of law enforcement.
His law enforcement career began with the Cromwell, CT Police Dept., where he worked Patrol Division, was a Fatal Accident Traffic Investigator, and was assigned to the Detective Division. He was a Field Training Officer, and also an instructor providing in-service training to fellow officers.
Phil then moved to the Space Coast of Florida and began working for the Brevard County Sheriff's Office (BCSO), where he was assigned to the Patrol Division, and was later selected for the elite Selective Enforcement Unit / Motorcycle Division, responsible for dignitary escorts, traffic and DUI enforcement, and traffic and crowd control during numerous Space Shuttle launches at the Kennedy Space Center.
Phil transferred to the Orange County, FL Sheriff's Office (OCSO) in Orlando, Fl where he worked his favorite assignment, Patrol Division. After a short time, he was promoted to Deputy Sheriff First Class and became an agency Field Training Officer.
