She thought silence made her strong. She thought survival was enough. But God was calling her into something deeper, wholeness.
In Shedding Her Skin, Cherry Ringgold takes readers on a breathtaking, soul-shaking journey through pain, healing, awakening, and spiritual rebirth. Written with the intimacy of a journal and the power of a testimony, this book is for every woman who has ever carried more than she could speak, survived more than she could explain, and is ready to reclaim the woman she lost along the way.
Through poetic storytelling, prophetic declarations, and faith-filled reflections, Cherry uncovers what it truly means to be rebuilt by God, piece by piece, breath by breath, chapter by chapter.
Inside these pages, you will discover:
✨ The courage to confront the broken foundation beneath your strength
✨ The beauty hidden in your scars, tears, and silent battles
✨ The transformative power of solitude, surrender, and spiritual reconstruction
✨ The moment where survival ends... and becoming begins
✨ The God who rebuilds, restores, and makes all things new
This is more than a book; it is a healing companion, a mirror, a prayer room, and an altar.
It invites you to breathe again, rise again, and finally see yourself the way Heaven sees you.
If you're ready to heal, ready to rediscover your identity, and ready to become the woman God designed you to be... this is your moment. This is your book. This is your becoming.
Shedding Her Skin is for mothers, daughters, survivors, and every beautifully broken soul who refuses to stay broken.
Let your healing begin.
