"She-wolves and Infanticidal Whores" is a powerful and polemical work that dissects the crime of infanticide with a fierce, uncompromising lens. Rejecting contemporary social narratives that seek to explain or mitigate the act, the author presents a rigorous and unsparing argument for its condemnation. The book's central thesis is that infanticide is a crime that defies all excuses-be they poverty, mental illness, social pressure, or historical context-and must be met with the "stern rigour of justice" and "execration."
The author's provocative and often raw language sets the tone for the entire work. The term "she-wolf" is not used lightly; it is a deliberate and recurring motif that strips the perpetrator of any victimhood and reframes her as a "predator" who has committed a crime against nature and humanity. This unyielding perspective is a cornerstone of the book, challenging readers to abandon empathetic and contextual frameworks in favor of moral clarity and absolute judgment. The manuscript argues that such a crime represents a complete break from the fundamental instinct of motherhood, portraying it as a perversion of the natural order.
To bolster its argument, the book delves into an unconventional and controversial analysis of historical, biblical, and Islamic texts. The author meticulously examines passages and stories from these sources to expose what is described as a "moral rot" and a long history of societal complicity or indifference to the crime. This deep dive into religious and historical documents is a key feature of the work, suggesting a scholarly approach that simultaneously confronts traditional interpretations. The author's use of these sources is not to offer a religious sermon but to build a foundation for a trans-historical and trans-cultural argument for justice and accountability.
The book is not merely a historical or legal treatise; it is an impassioned call to action. It forces the reader to confront a topic that is often shrouded in discomfort and social taboos. The uncompromising tone and direct engagement with contentious issues make "She-wolves and Infanticidal Whores" a unique and challenging piece of literature. It will appeal to readers interested in criminology, social history, religious studies, and feminist theory who are open to a work that directly challenges prevailing narratives and demands a complete re-evaluation of a profoundly disturbing crime. This is a work that seeks to provoke thought, debate, and, ultimately, a societal re-commitment to an absolute moral stance.
