About the Author

Mike Periman lives in Southern Illinois with his wife of nearly thirty years. When he's not writing, he works as an IT professional and serves actively in his local church.

Mike is a father of three and a devoted grandfather to five grandchildren, whom he delights in teaching about life's beauty and wonder. He regularly speaks at churches and youth camps, using his passion for ministry and teaching of God's word.

The inspiration for his debut novel, "Caged", struck in 2010 when Mike had a vivid dream of a woman ascending a staircase, glancing back over her shoulder. Upon waking, he found himself asking: Who was this woman? Why was she there? These questions sparked his imagination and led to the first draft of "Caged".

What began as a single story has evolved into a fifteen-year journey, culminating in the complete Possession Series Trilogy, a Men's devotional designed to be blunt and impactful, and a humorous story of his college car.
