Six months after saving their village through an empathic network that connects consciousness across multiple realms, Kira Meren thought the hardest challenges were behind them. She was wrong.
When ancient entities called Gate Hunters launch a coordinated attack on their network, reality itself begins rejecting their consciousness evolution as too dangerous to exist. The only solution is impossible: seven people must undergo temporal multiplication, learning to exist across seventeen timeline branches simultaneously while maintaining their essential humanity.
Opening the Second Gate will either prove that consciousness can evolve safely—or demonstrate why cosmic forces have spent eons preventing such transcendence. As Kira and her companions become living bridges between past and future, they must build an academy that can teach others to navigate temporal paradox without losing their souls.
But success attracts attention from entities whose thoughts span galaxies, and the price of cosmic recognition may be higher than anyone imagined.
A fantasy epic about consciousness, connection, and the courage to become more than you ever thought possible. For fans of N.K. Jemisin's Broken Earth trilogy meets Brandon Sanderson's magic systems
