Hardcover. 8 1/4" X 5 1/2". 276pp. Ex-First Church Sabbath School Library of New Britain, with label to front pastedown and card and envelope to rear free endpaper. Green cloth over boards, with upper board lettered in gilt. Spine sunned and gilt rubbed away to spine. Corners bumped and rubbed to boards, chipping to head and tail of spine, moderate edgewear, and scattered rubbing to binding. Bookseller label to front pastedown. Both hinges cracking. Spine visible at several pages, with some pages starting to come loose. Dogear creases to pages throughout, with occasional spot of foxing, toning, or soiling, with no losses. All plates by Charles Livingston Bull present. An admittedly quite worn but charming 1920s copy of Olaf Baker's novel of a feral child raised by wolves in the Pacific Northwest.
