Paperback. There are so many kinds of organisms in all of the bodies of water on Earth, meaning they're all a part of different food chains. At the top of underwater food chains are sharks, the apex predators of the ocean with rows of giant teeth and a primarily carnivorous diet. In this volume, readers explore the hunting techniques used by sharks and other fish to hunt for prey, as well as how their prey use their bodies and surroundings to prevent themselves from becoming dinner. With bone-chilling photos of these magnificent sharks, accessible fact boxes, and intriguing text that breaks down the content, readers learn about individual hunting tactics as well as draw comparisons between each of them to understand the ecosystems better. Shipping may be from our Sydney, NSW warehouse or from our UK or US warehouse, depending on stock availability.
