This book features an extraordinary group of women stepping into the light and sharing their experiences, many of which we’re sure you’ll either relate to or have your eyes opened by.
Open these pages and listen as Amy Kenny writes on the lack of narratives for people with disabilities, and how disability is a life of erasure as a result.
Walk with Isla Mani through her lines of prose as she recounts abuse at the hands of a loved one and its impact on her identity.
Experience the powerful poetry of Tanatsei Gambura, who delves into the deeply personal exploration of being a woman, being Zimbabwean, being a cite of violence, and becoming an embodiment of resistance.
Just as this book serves as a platform for writers who often go unheard, we also want it to reach out and empower you to stand up and use your voice, even if it shakes.
