HE WASN'T DEAD. HE WAS TRYING TO COME HOME.
For twelve years, Raghav and Meera built a life together.
A small apartment.
Shared dreams.
Countless ordinary moments that became everything.
Then, on a stormy night in Kolkata, a devastating accident leaves Raghav suspended between life and death.
While his body lies motionless in a hospital bed, Meera is left alone with a grief she cannot escape.
But soon, strange things begin happening inside their apartment.
Footsteps echo through empty rooms.
Doors open by themselves.
Whispers drift through the darkness after midnight.
Lights flicker.
Mirrors crack.
And every night, the feeling grows stronger.
Someone is trying to reach her.
As the haunting intensifies, Meera becomes convinced that something has followed her husband home from the hospital.
Something desperate.
Something trapped.
Something that refuses to let go.
But beyond the veil between life and death lies a truth far more terrifying—and heartbreaking—than she could ever imagine.
THE SHADOW BETWEEN HEARTBEATS is an emotional paranormal horror novel about love, loss, grief, and the darkness that exists between worlds.
