Add to basketWhen the fabled Eagle of Aurelius-a Roman artifact shrouded in legend-is stolen from the Museum of Antiquities, investigator Marcus Flynn is thrust into a case that defies explanation. The trail of blood left at the scene leads not to modern suspects but to ancient Rome, where a mysterious force pulls Marcus through time.
Now trapped in Nero's Rome, Marcus must navigate a dangerous world of political intrigue, betrayal, and shadowy conspiracies. Teaming up with the shrewd Roman investigator Cassius Marcellus, Marcus uncovers the Umbra Aquilae, a secret brotherhood whose influence stretches across centuries. As they unravel clues hidden in cryptic symbols and forgotten relics, the pair discovers the Eagle's true power-one capable of altering the fate of empires.
But time is running out. As Marcus struggles to adapt to an alien world, powerful enemies close in, determined to protect the Eagle's secrets at any cost. To solve the mystery, Marcus must bridge the divide between his modern methods and ancient Rome's brutal realities, knowing that one wrong move could leave him trapped in the past forever.
The Shadow of the Eagle is a gripping blend of historical mystery, time travel, and supernatural intrigue, perfect for fans of atmospheric thrillers and epic adventures.
