A few faint creases to cover. Cover copy: How can one man, living in the shadows of society, throw a blanket of fear over a great eastern city in order to feed his twisted desires of sexual experiences? What transpires in the dark labyrinth of the distorted mind of a sex strangler? This hard-to-put-down novel brings to life the many facets of a depraved personality and the city that trembled under the fear caused by his bizarre crimes. It depicts, with frightening clarity, the inner workings of a strange and sometimes pathetic man, Mason Stevenson; the devious twistings and turnings of a mind that can no longer judge right from wrong. A mind that, seeks only the physical satisfaction of a deep. rooted lust to r*pe. First Paragraph(s): Smog mixed with a threatening New England sky to prematurely darken the city streets. Mason Stevenson, moving aimlessly through these streets, felt more comfortable when the darkness enveloped him. It represented safety and deepened the obscurity of his life, made him more invisible to others, allowing him darkness and aloneness as if they alone were the seeds of his madness. 158 pages.
