Paperback. Like everywhere, business has been tough for companies in upstate Massachusetts. Franklin Furniture, one of the largest, is still alive--but George Franklin, the young heir who took over when his universally-loved father died suddenly, is barely keeping the company afloat. Determined to apply new business models to the failing company, George has been ruthlessly transforming the business to keep it from bankruptcy-but he's damaged the soul of the company in the process. In this explosive situation comes a brilliant young woman named Jade Talbot, a corporate consultant from Boston who secretly intends to by the floundering company. Their sudden encounter reveals a unique approach to personal awakening and corporate transformation-as Jade help George discover a new way to manage his won mind and heart, and in extension his company.
