Set of four pamphlets about nature writer Mary Hunter Austin. Set includes: "Mary Austin on the Art of Writing: A Letter to Henry James Forman" (Published by The Friends of the UCLA Library in 1961) , "Mary Austin: The Southwest Works [Southwest Writers Series No. 16]" by Jo W. Lyday (Published by the Steck-Vaughn Company in 1968) , "Mary Hunter Austin [Centennial Booklet]" (Published by The Mary Austin Home in 1968) , and "Mary Austin: A Memorial" (Published by The Laboratory of Anthropology in Santa Fe in 1944). All pamphlets are staple bound and in good to very good condition with minor toning, creasing, and shelf wear. "Mary Austin: The Southwest Works" has previous owner's name in pen on title page, otherwise interiors are clean. Mary Hunter Austin (1868-1934) was a novelist and essayist who wrote about the American Southwest and Native Americans. Seller Inventory # 024391
