In Sermons from the Porch, Christopher Keating invites you to step back in time to a place where community thrived on the front porch. This collection of sermons, inspired by the Gospel lessons for the Sundays after Pentecost, brings the warmth, openness, and intimate conversations of front porch gatherings into the heart of our faith journeys.

With keen insights and relatable anecdotes, Keating explores how the simple yet profound act of sitting on a front porch can reconnect us with our neighbors, nature, and our own spirituality. Each sermon is a call to embrace the values of hospitality, storytelling, and community that front porches once nurtured.

Through these sermons, you will:

1. Reconnect with Your Faith: Learn how the teachings of Jesus come alive in our modern world when viewed through the lens of community and shared experiences.
2. Build Stronger Communities: Gain inspiration to create spaces in your life where meaningful conversations and relationships can flourish.
3. Embrace Hospitality: Understand the importance of welcoming others into your life and the impact of small acts of kindness.

Reflecting on personal memories and biblical teachings, Sermons from the Porch is more than just a collection of sermons; it's a guide to rekindling the lost art of genuine community and faith. Whether you are a long-time believer or new to the faith, this book offers timeless wisdom and a fresh perspective on how to live a life filled with grace and connection.
