38x31 cm. 2 maps in original wrappers, constituting Part XLIX of the atlas. fine condition. This part contains two maps as called for on the front cover: Russia in Europe Parts 3 and 4. Part 3 shows northwestern Russia, running from St. Petersburg in the northeast to include modern Estonia, Latvia and most of Lithuania along with western Russia. It does not extend quite as far south as Vilnius and Kaunas. Part 4 shows north central Russia, with Moscow in the center at the bottom edge and St. Petersburg at the northwest corner. While examples of the full atlas are not uncommon, individual original parts, as published for subscribers, are not seen often in trade.
