Abu-Rabi is co-director of the Duncon Black Macdonald Center for the Study of Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations at hartford Seminary, and Professor of Islamic studies and Christian-Muslim relations. He is a leading specialist in Islamic revivalism and the author of several books on the subject.
