Le nom grec du livre du Lévitique était to Leuitikón, qui signifie des Lévites . Les Lévites étaient la tribu sacerdotale des Israélites, que le Lévitique établit comme prêtres héréditaires, avec des villes où résider. Le nom hébreu du livre est wayyiqrā, généralement translittéré en Vayikrá. Ce nom hébreu est basé sur le premier mot du livre, qui signifie et il appela . Le nom français est une translittération du nom latin ancien Leviticus, qui partage une origine commune avec le nom grec. Ce livre ne figurait pas dans le Samareitikon, la traduction de la Torah samaritaine réalisée à la Bibliothèque d'Alexandrie avant la Septante. Par conséquent, le livre des Lévites est probablement apparu comme un ajout aux traducteurs grecs travaillant à la Bibliothèque d'Alexandrie. Les traducteurs latins anciens semblent avoir partagé cette interprétation et l'ont nommé en conséquence.
Les différences textuelles entre le Lévitique grec et le Vayikrá hébreu sont bien moins importantes que celles observées dans les autres livres de la Torah, ce qui suggère que le livre a été écrit relativement récemment avant sa traduction en grec. Les lois de ce livre correspondent aux réformes religieuses du roi Josias de Juda, qui régna entre 640 et 609 avant notre ère. Cela se produisit moins de 400 ans avant la traduction grecque. Ses réformes auraient débuté avec la découverte d'une copie originale des lois de Moïse dans le Temple de Jérusalem, qui devint ensuite le fondement de sa Torah officielle. Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
