Dj is nicely preserved in a brand new protective mylar plastic cover! 210 very clean, unmarked and uncreased suspense-filled pages! "Miles Jacoby, private investigator, has been hired by his friend, lawyer Heck Delgado, to locate a missing prostitute called Two-John Wheeler. Heck needs Two-John to provide an alibi for a mafia client who has been charged with his wife's murder. While on the trail of Two-John, Miles encounters Caroline McWilliams, also a private investigator, but not very good at it. Caroline is looking for her husband's murderer, possibly a serial killer nicknamed The Backshooter. Miles isn't convinced that The Backshooter killed Caroline's husband; he thinks there may be a copycat on the prowl. Still, he is reluctant to get involved with Caroline, who seems to want more from him than his investigative services.".
