Three volumes from a very scarce series covering transport developments across Britain, from a leading builder of steam wagons. First formed in 1915 at Shrewsbury, after splittiing from Alley and Macellen, Sentinel Waggon Works dominated the steam market in the 1920s and 30s along with Foden, buidling a number of steam wagons that would later be replaced by steam trucks. The periodical offers an intriguing timeline of developements that have occured in British transport, with these three volumes focusing on 1923-1925, years of rapid growth in the industry.
