About the Author
Dr. Ramkumar K. R. currently serves as a Professor at Chitkara University, Punjab, India, where he oversees funded projects from organizations such as DRDO and C-DAC, focusing on cryptography and risk assessment models. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, awarded by Anna University, Chennai, India. With 22 years of teaching and 15 years of research experience, his expertise spans various domains, notably Network Security, Cryptography, and Post Quantum Cryptography. He leads the implementation of cryptographic algorithms on Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) for ASIC designs, and his work extends to Mobile Ad Hoc Networks and the Internet of Things (IoT), where he addresses issues related to routing overhead, key management, cluster management for congestion mitigation, and security enhancements. Dr. Ramkumar also serves as the head of the Centre of Excellence for Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence Lab at Chitkara University. He has published over 70 research articles featured in esteemed international journals and conferences, boasting strong impact factors. To add to his accolades, he has earned 25 patents in his name.
Dr. Bhupendra Singh is currently a senior scientist at DRDO, India. He is an alumnus of Allahabad University, IIT Madras, and Masaryk University Brno, Czech Republic. His areas of research include the design and analysis of symmetric key cryptographic algorithms, the design and analysis of quantum-safe cryptographic algorithms and protocol, and the construction of cryptographically significant Boolean functions and S-Boxes. Dr. Singh was the Panelist of Vaishwik Bharatiya Vaigyanik Summit (VAIBHAV-2020) in Quantum Technology Vertical, organized by PMO. He received the technology group award in 2007 and 2016. He had guided several B. Tech. and M. Tech. students. He was also elected as an executive committee member of the Cryptology Research Society of India from 2015 onward and is also a Life member of Ramanujan Mathematical Society and a Life member of the International Academy of Physical Sciences. Dr. Singh has published several papers in national and international conferences and journals.
Dr. Lei Pan is currently an Associate Professor with the Centre for Cyber Resilience and Trust (CREST), School of Information Technology, Deakin University, Australia. He received a Ph.D. degree in computer forensics from Deakin University, Australia, in 2008. He leads the research theme ‘Advancing Cyber Security Technologies’ at CREST. His research interests cover broad topics in cybersecurity and privacy. He has authored 150 research papers in international journals and conferences.
Dr. Ankit Sharma holds the position of Head of the Chitkara University publications division of the Research and Innovation Network (CURIN) Department, Chitkara University, Punjab, India. He received his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, India. He has more than 10 years of experience in academics, research, consulting, training, and industry. Dr. Sharma is also organized the international conference-ICEMSMCI 2023 and served as the General chair and convenor. He has authored numerous national and international publications, holds the position of managing and special issue editor and is also on the review board of several SCI, Scopus, and Web of Science-indexed journals. He has filed/published 30+ International patents and is also the series editor for the series entitled ‘Innovations in Smart Manufacturing for Long-Term Development and Growth’ with CRC Press, Taylor and Francis.

Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.

Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Books Puddle, New York, New York, U.S.A., without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
