Management Strategies and Nervous System Health ― How to Integrate Neurodynamics Within Modern Biopsychosocial Constructs
The Sensitive Nervous System is the classic neurodynamics text. The physical examination of the nervous system is carefully illustrated and explained via hundreds of clear line drawings. Management strategies are introduced and underpinned by neurobiology and clinical reasoning.
The Sensitive Nervous System calls for skilled physical and educational contributions to the management of acute and chronic pain states. If offers a ‘big picture’ approach using best evidence from basic sciences and outcomes data, with plenty of space for individual clinical expertise and wisdom.
One of the most popular David Butler books, The Sensitive Nervous System teaches novel techniques which are instantly applicable and demonstrates how to integrate neurodynamics within modern biopsychosocial constructs.
Written by David Butler, EdD, MPhty, BPhty, MAPA (Hon). Softcover; 432 pages. Illustrated.
