Paperback. Pulling into the hospital's handicap lot on Massachusetts Ave, I'm already having a Groundhog Day moment. Today is my third day of radiation. Halfway through my first week, it already feels very, very old. I've driven forty miles to get here. I feel exhausted, pummeled, prehistoric. This morning, while defogging the bathroom mirror, I could barely recognize the ancient fossil peering back at me. Help me, the old codger seemed to be pleading. 'Philip Austin guides readers on a journey through the physical, emotional, and spiritual landscape of cancer treatment in America. Send A Boy To The Riverbank is healing medicine for anyone coping with the burden of a recently diagnosed healthcare crisis.- -Dr. Pam Jarboe- This item is printed on demand.
