Volume I also has an old price marked in pencil. Hinges cracked but holding, both volumes. Fore-edges rough cut. Speckles and small discolorations on top edge, not visible on opened pages. Dark green cloth covers, speckles all over where color is missing. Good gilt title on spine. Corners and ends of spine worn. 1/4 inch tear at top of spine of vol. I. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
