Book is straight, square, securely bound (some mild looseness), lightly and uniformly age toned (darker toning to endpapers and pastedowns), and, except for light soil smudge on bottom edge, free of markings and other blemishes. Cover is clean, with minor age fading, gently bumped and rubbed corners, joints, headcap and tail, straight spine, hinges and edges, and clearly legible and distinct lettering and design. Dust Jacket is unclipped (reflecting original GBP 25s price) and shows overall age toning, light soiling, chipping (particularly noticeable at the joints, corners, head, tail and top edges) and rubbing along the hinges and wraps.
