"Selected Essays, Lectures and Poems of Ralph Waldo Emerson" published in 1977 by Washington Square Press. "Born in Boston in 1803, Ralph Waldo Emerson has been called a "cosmic optimist" & the first of American Romantics. Enormously influential & controversial in the intellectual world of his day, Emerson remains one of the great American thinkers. His message is intensely human & speaks directly to modern man--caught in a world he never made & to which he must constantly readjust in order to survive." Book is in Very Good+ condition. Slight edgewear to the covers. A few creasing on the front cover. No spine creases but other slight wrinkling to the cover at the spine. Sone slight creasing & staining on the back cover. Interior is in Great condition! Pages are bright and clean. Your purchase supports a small business. We want you to love your book so customer service is important to us!
