Paperback. In the modern port city of Homer's Haven, where neon lights flicker over salt-stained streets and cosmic secrets sleep beneath the waves, one woman walks a razor's edge between heroism and damnation.Dondorale Malcrude, known to wrestling fans as the "Raven Queen," lives two lives - by day, a weary retail clerk at the Mighty Mammoth, and by night, a masked champion in the brutal circuits of Justified World Wrestling. But behind the theatrics and spotlight lies a curse she can't shake: the demonic blood of her father Maddicus, and the shadow of her mother Victoria, a retired enchantress whose family once bound a cosmic entity to protect the realms. When a cryptic message arrives hinting at the reawakening of the Nether Tree, a primordial force that once tore through the Malcrude bloodline, Dondorale's fragile peace begins to unravel. Haunting dreams, flickers of the past, and whispers from the Maze of Autozar remind her that she's not as free from her lineage as she pretends. As the balance between worlds begins to fracture, old enemies reemerge - Darvork the Revenant, the arena ghost who once nearly ended her life; Khi of Camalore, the elven tactician who still believes in her; and the dangerous charm of Maddicus, whose return stirs both dread and nostalgia.Caught between her humanity and her demonic inheritance, Dondorale must confront what she truly is: a cambion torn between saving the world or feeding it to the darkness inside her. Every thread she pulls reveals another secret, another betrayal - until even her reflection becomes a stranger. This item is printed on demand. In the modern port city of Homer’s Haven, where neon lights flicker over salt-stained streets and cosmic secrets sleep beneath the waves, one woman walks a razor’s edge between heroism and damnation.
Dondorale Malcrude, known to wrestling fans as the “Raven Queen,” lives two lives — by day, a weary retail clerk at the Mighty Mammoth, and by night, a masked champion in the brutal circuits of Justified World Wrestling. But behind the theatrics and spotlight lies a curse she can’t shake: the demonic blood of her father Maddicus, and the shadow of her mother Victoria, a retired enchantress whose family once bound a cosmic entity to protect the realms.
When a cryptic message arrives hinting at the reawakening of the Nether Tree, a primordial force that once tore through the Malcrude bloodline, Dondorale’s fragile peace begins to unravel. Haunting dreams, flickers of the past, and whispers from the Maze of Autozar remind her that she’s not as free from her lineage as she pretends.
As the balance between worlds begins to fracture, old enemies reemerge — Darvork the Revenant, the arena ghost who once nearly ended her life; Khi of Camalore, the elven tactician who still believes in her; and the dangerous charm of Maddicus, whose return stirs both dread and nostalgia.
Caught between her humanity and her demonic inheritance, Dondorale must confront what she truly is: a cambion torn between saving the world or feeding it to the darkness inside her. Every thread she pulls reveals another secret, another betrayal — until even her reflection becomes a stranger.
