This successful introduction to sedimentary structures has been thoroughly revised. Retaining the field- and laboratory-orientated approach of the first edition, the authors have rewritten considerable sections on the properties of fluids and flows, sands and sandstones, gravels and conglomerates, structures of chemical and biological origin, and deformation structures.
