Paperback. The advancement of autonomous mobility is transforming modern transportation, with vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication serving as a key enabler of safer, smarter, and more efficient mobility ecosystems. V2X systems support real-time information exchange among vehicles, infrastructure, pedestrians, and network services, allowing autonomous vehicles to enhance situational awareness, optimize decision-making, and improve traffic management. As connectivity expands, however, concerns related to cybersecurity, privacy, reliability, and system resilience become increasingly critical. To address these challenges, secure V2X systems integrate advanced technologies to detect threats, protect communications, and support adaptive responses to dynamic road conditions. As the transportation sector moves toward fully connected and autonomous environments, the development of robust, secure, and intelligent V2X frameworks will be essential for enabling trustworthy, resilient, and sustainable mobility solutions. Secure and Intelligent V2X Systems for Autonomous Mobility explores the technologies, architectures, and applications that enable secure and intelligent V2X communication in autonomous transportation environments. This book examines how real-time information exchange among vehicles, infrastructure, pedestrians, and networks can enhance safety, operational efficiency, and decision-making. Covering topics such as 5G architecture integration, digital twins, and vehicular ad hoc networks, this book serves as a valuable resource for engineers, transportation professionals, system designers, researchers, scientists, and policymakers seeking to advance the future of intelligent mobility.
