Gov Con Blockbuster!
Secrets...
A book for seasoned experienced Government Contractors. Advanced Federal government contractor pricing strategies, tools, techniques, and checklists – and how to develop a powerful strategic mindset for value storytelling – to ensure your offer stands apart from the competition and wins Federal contracts.
... of Strategic Pricing...
Pricing is a significant piece of the proposal puzzle. It can make or break your bid. With a strategic pricing mentality and deliberate team approaches for every proposal you price, you can improve your win rate, increase your profit margins, and make wise choices about what you pursue.
... for Government Contractors
Already know a lot about the elements of contract winning? This book is for you. You will be stimulated and challenged driving more profitable, value-centered directions pricing your government contracts.
True to its title, Secrets of Strategic Pricing for Government Contractors delivers.
Author Marsha Lindquist details that strategic pricing is a deliberate set of vital choices you and your company make to get to the desired price. Lindquist builds the case that strategic pricing is in fact the guiding star to a winning solution. Pricing is too often what you do after you have created the proposal response, instead of before, during, and after.
So, sharpen your pencil and liberate your thinking to discover the small actions that produce large results in pursuing Government contracts.
You will discover the hidden secrets of...
- What makes strategic pricing so important to winning
- The strategic pricing processes that make managing your proposal dramatically easier
- Reaching into your strategic pricing toolbox to search beyond wrap rates and profit margins
If you are a business leader at a government contracting firm, you may be resolved to winning your fair share of a $900 billion per year private sector contract award market. But maybe just “your fair share” is not what you really have in mind.
Sustained Gov Con success does not happen by accident or without solid financial plans built into strategic pricing. Marsha whispers to you all the secrets for winning more. Whether you have been pricing Federal contracts for decades or you have just begun your journey, this is the book for you.
Reader Reviews
This book is a paradigm-shift. This is one of the most advanced and comprehensive books on pricing that I have ever read.
Joshua P. Frank – Managing Partner, RSM Federal
I don’t think it dawns on many Gov Con executives and founders how much they hamper their company’s competitiveness by starting pricing so late in the capture process... I highly recommend Marsha’s book for Gov Con pricing professionals and (perhaps more importantly) to their company executives!
Michael Gallo, Partner/Principal ConsultantFederal Pricing Group
