Secrete Santa is a mystical Christmas book for anyone who wants to feel the wonder of the season again.

The tree, the star, the chimney, the hat, the pipe, the bells, the reindeer, Saint Nicholas, Black Pete, Frosty, the candy cane, the gifts — each one is treated as a doorway back into the mystery hiding in plain sight.

This book is not trying to debunk Christmas.

It is trying to re-enchant it.

Jahn Hooks reads the season through Scripture, Christian mysticism, folk tradition, esoteric anatomy, breathwork, old Christmas customs, and devotional imagination. The result is a little book that helps adults become childlike again — not by pretending, but by learning how to see.

At its heart, Secrete Santa asks a simple question:

What if Christmas was never only something happening outside of us?

What if the lights, the gifts, the chimney, the star, and the hidden visitor were also pointing to an inward birth — Christ being formed in the soul, wonder returning to the body, and the imagination becoming holy again?

Secrete Santa invites readers to recover the child’s eye: the part of us that can still believe, still marvel, still receive a gift without needing to explain it away.

For anyone who has felt Christmas become too busy, too commercial, too predictable, or too far away from the mystery it once carried, this book offers a path back.

Not backward into nostalgia.

Inward into wonder.
