Paperback. There is a killer on the loose in the leafy city of Lichfield. First, an undertaker is crucified in a local churchyard. Second, a midwife killed in her own home - laid out like a foetus in the womb. The killer is named the Magpie, he will strike again and again, but will leave no evidence. The Magpie also likes to collect shiny things, and if he likes the look of your eyes, he will take them - then kill you. So run. DCI Harry Morton and DI Maisie Price need to catch the Magpie before its too late. Will they find out why the mysterious Lady Bell is involved, and what she has planned? Who is the mysterious moribund woman dressed in yellow, and what happened in the attics of Legend Street, Birmingham in 1948 that links the killings across time? This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.
