nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Beneath the chestnut tree at Willowbrook Primary sits an old wooden bench with a secret carved into its frame: FRIENDS FIND WHAT OTHERS MISS. When Maya, Leo, Amara, Sam, Immy, and Noah discover the hidden message, it leads them into the forgotten story of Elsie Finch and the Friendship Club. What begins as a playground mystery becomes a promise that follows them through school, exams, college, university, love, loss, weddings, fear, recovery, and the difficult work of growing up. The Secret Bench is a warm, heartfelt story about friendship that changes shape but does not disappear. It is about noticing the people who feel invisible, finding courage in ordinary places, and learning that the way back to one another can survive distance, silence, and time.
