About the Author: Loch K. Johnson is Regents Professor of Political Science at the University of Georgia. The author of two other books on intelligence, he has been special assistant to the chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, staff director of the Subcommittee on Oversight on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and special assistant to Les Aspin and professional staff member on the Aspin-Brown Commission on Intelligence.
