Princess Penelope's life changes the morning she wakes to find a mysterious note and a single rose beneath her pillow.
After narrowly escaping death, her father hires Joshua Nightingale as her personal bodyguard, who is bossy and impossible to ignore. Joshua turns her carefully controlled life upside down from the moment he arrives.
Forced to live under the same roof, Penelope and Joshua must uncover the identity of the stalker before it's too late. But as the danger grows and secrets begin to unravel, the line between duty and desire becomes impossible to ignore.
Someone is watching. Someone is waiting. But no one is safe.
