388 pages, a very good plus hardback, publisher's original red cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine and front cover. Minimal evidence that this is an ex-library book, although there is a tonal change on the lower part of the spine where the library sticker used to be. Also there's a little loss at the top of the spine .
