Recent years have seen a growing interest in the intersection of biblical studies and theology. Scripture's Doctrine and Theology's Bible is a collection of essays by world-class biblical and systematic theologians. At the core of the book and of each essay is this fundamental question: To what extent, and on what grounds, does the New Testament shape and prescribe Christian theology? As the contributors explore this question, they creatively engage with various doctrines, interpreters, and practices. This illuminating book will appeal to pastors and students interested in the integration of biblical studies and theology for the benefit of the church.
