Neuware - Not everyone is comfortable with talking about, looking at, acknowledging, or dealing with the hair between our legs-from the shaving and trimming, to the cultural taboos, and pop cultural criticisms-and the necessary hygiene that comes with it. Sometimes, the aroma (some might say stench) makes a person want to leave the room-or worse leave his or her own body. For others, there is so much joy-the trimming or shaving is an art form, the waxing is therapeutic. And perhaps one person's odor is another person's sweet perfume. And maybe, just maybe, all of this is inconsequential to everyday life and the larger acts of living and loving; being intimate and feeling comfortable with the bodies we have, and the bodies we're with. These are the conversations that begin and flourish with Down There: Narratives about the joy, aroma and overall existence of the bush. Now in its third edition, Down There is the only book-length collection of personal narratives about trimming, shaving, and intimate hygiene. The first of its kind, it is 100% anonymous, allowing the voices within to be completely honest, and the reader to focus simply on each experience shared. Down There is helpful. It is therapeutic for anyone with a painful memory. It is a guide for anyone considering making a change. And it is a mediator for anyone interested in starting a conversation. Down There is funny. You will laugh, out loud, over and over. Down There is memorable. Some stories will stick with you long after you put the book down. When you buy a copy, make sure to buy two, because you will want to give one to a friend. …
