"This experience gave me also an opportunity to learn a fact--a remarkable one, in my opinion: A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it." Early edition. Translated from German by Frank Gaynor. Dust jacket has fading and chipping on the spine, one 1.5 inch tear, and several short tears (a couple have been reinforced with archival tape on the verso). Price shows $3.75. Jacket is in a new protective Brodart cover. Blue pebbled boards have minimal wear. Spine ends have light wear, but the spine is tight and square. No writing inside. Dust jacket is in good condition. Book is in very good to excellent condition.
