About the Author

Emile Littr� est n� en 1801 et mort en 1881 � Paris. A d�faut de la faire de la m�decine, il donna des cours de latin et grec. Il n'abandonna pas la m�decine pour autant, il �crivit deux-trois manuscrits. Son principal titre fut "Dictionnaire de la langue fran�aise" ou bien le Littr�.
