This 6.25 x 9.125 inch, 341 page hardcover book is the first edition of this title in 1925 as indicated by that date on the title page matching the date on the copyright page. This copy is in very good condition but lacks any dust wrapper. The dark blue cloth covers, with gilt lettering and design on front panel and spine, show time wear with modest rubbing and a touch of corner wear. There are a number of rubbed spots and one very small break in the cloth cover at the spine crown, but really, the covers are in solid and very good condition with the binding tight. The interior text is in at least very good condition with only a few occasional spots as signs of deterioration and handling. The frontispiece photograph is protected by the tissue guard and the text is highlighted with 35 black-and-white drawings and full-page photographs.
